What furniture legs are

Furniture legs are the legs you fix to a piece of furniture, to replace worn ones or upgrade a plain base. Ours are short, plate-mount legs in steel hairpin or tapered oak. Each is a set with a top plate that screws to a solid wood or ply frame, and screws and a build guide are included. For a glass, hollow or thin base, glue an 18 to 24mm ply pad on first, then screw into that.

How do I fit them?

Each leg has a top plate that screws to a solid wood or ply frame on the underside, using the screws supplied. For a glass, hollow or thin base, glue an 18 to 24mm ply pad on first, then screw into that. They are not a threaded, wind-in replacement foot.

What heights do furniture legs come in?

These are short legs for lifting or re-legging furniture, roughly 10cm to 40cm depending on the range. For taller builds, a dining or desk table, the table legs range goes up to 71cm and beyond.

Steel hairpins are the slim, mid-century option; tapered oak is solid wood for a warmer look. Both fix the same way, so it comes down to the look you want.
