Heights and what they suit

The five legs in this collection run from 10cm to 30cm. The 10cm leg gives a slight lift, enough to clear a vacuum head or slide flat storage boxes underneath. 20cm is the middle ground: useful clearance without changing how the bed sits in the room. At 25cm and 30cm you get proper underbed storage height, with room for crates and larger boxes, plus a lighter, raised look for the frame itself.

Measure from the underside of your frame and remember the mattress adds height on top, so pick the leg for the clearance you actually want underneath.

How they fix

Every leg mounts with a top plate that screws to the underside of the frame. Screws and a build guide come in the box, and legs are sold in sets of 4. The plate needs solid wood or ply to bite into, so check your frame rails before ordering.

What suits these, and what doesn't

Beds with a solid timber frame are the straightforward case: screw the plates to the rails and the job is done. Divan bases and metal-framed beds need one step first, a solid timber rail or batten fixed to the base for the plates to screw into. Without that rail there is nothing for the screws to hold, so plan it in before you order.

Materials

Four of the five legs are steel hairpins, which hold a raised bed securely on an appropriate solid frame. The fifth is a 20cm tapered oak leg for a warmer, all-wood look.
