4-seater and 6-seater dining tables

Our six main table designs each come in two sizes: 150 × 75cm seats four, and 180 × 80cm seats six. Both sizes have an assembled height of 74cm. Choose for the people who usually eat together and the space in your dining area.

Chairs and benches are sold separately. If you prefer a bench, see our dining benches.

Choose your top material

Choose from Baltic birch plywood, European oak plywood, American black walnut plywood, or white and grey Formica birch plywood. Start with the top you want to see every day.

Across these six designs, tops are 25mm thick. The oak tops have European oak on an AA-grade Baltic birch plywood core. The walnut tops have American black walnut on an AA-grade Baltic birch plywood core. Birch tops are AA-grade Baltic birch plywood throughout. The Formica tops have white or grey Formica surfaces on Baltic birch plywood.

The wood surfaces on these designs have a smooth hard wax oil finish; Formica gives you a wipe-clean surface. The layered plywood edges stay visible.

Choose your leg style

Birch with white round Single Pin legs has a clean, Scandi feel. Oak with tapered oak legs is modern and versatile. Black Trapezium steel legs give oak a stronger outline, while black Square box-section legs give walnut a substantial, slightly industrial look.

Yellow hairpin legs add a bright accent to Grey Formica. Pastel Green hairpin legs give White Formica a softer colour accent. Other leg colours are available for both Formica tables.

Choose your fitting option

These six designs come with a top, legs, assembly fixings and full assembly instructions. A free Premium Drilling Kit comes with your undrilled top as standard, with a template and tools to make fitting your legs simple. Prefer the holes prepared? Choose our £15 pre-drilling service.

One-off and bespoke tops

Occasionally, we also offer tables with one-off and bespoke tops. These tables are sold as shown, with no customisation to order. Check the individual description for dimensions, materials and assembly details.

FAQ

How much space should I leave for chairs?

Allow 50–60cm from the edge of your tabletop for chair use. Leave more space where someone needs to walk behind a seated person. Mark out your table's footprint, try your chairs in place and check that nearby doors and cupboards can still open.

Do these tables come pre-drilled?

The tops for our six main table designs arrive undrilled with a free Premium Drilling Kit as standard. The kit contains the correct paper template for your legs, an automatic centre punch and a depth-set countersink drill bit; you'll need a drill and screwdriver. Choose pre-drilling for £15 per top if you prefer the holes prepared; the kit is not included with this service.

The oak, walnut and birch tops in these designs are finished on both sides. Wood grain varies naturally. Drilling the top yourself lets you choose the side you love most.

Can I change the table legs later?

Yes, on any of our six main table designs. Check that your new legs suit your top size and give the dining height you want. You can reuse the centre punch and drill bit from your Premium Drilling Kit with the correct new template to mark and drill new fixing holes where needed.
